The Tears-McFarlane house is the perfect venue for your wedding reception. The elegant and historic building has been renovated to offer state-of-the-art amenities to fit the needs of your special day.

6-hour rental of the whole first floor & outdoor spaces. Does not include food and beverage.



  • Full day venue rentals include 6 hours of rental time.
  • Rentals are available from 3pm to 10pm on Thursday & Friday and 7am to 10pm on Saturday & Sunday.
  • The latest an event can end is 9pm with last call for alcohol at 8:30pm. All vendors and hosts must be out by 10pm.
  • Extra time is $250 per hour, subject to advance approval.
  • Late event conclusion is $1000 per hour.


  • 6 hours of rental time; 2-hour set-up, 3-hour event, and 1-hour clean up.
  • Complimentary one hour rehearsal the week of your reception.
  • Private space downstairs for wedding party and/or green room. Tables and chairs.
  • On-site venue representative.
  • Dedicated storage space up to 2 days prior and 2 days post event.


  • Renter assumes financial responsibility of the Mansion. No organization or business may rent the Mansion without a designated signor assuming responsibility for the rental.
  • Renter must inform vendors and personal representatives of the terms of the rental agreement.
  • Renter is responsible for the conduct of their guests.
  • Renter is liable for injuries to other guests and for property damaged due to guest conduct.
  • Renter is responsible for coordinating the removal of decor and to check out with the venue supervisor before leaving the rented space.
  • Renter is responsible for day of payments.
  • If a wedding planner or destination management company is hired by the renter to provide direction at the event, we require written authorization for this individual to act of the renter’s behalf.


  • The venue supervisor is not an event coordinator, but rather is available to address any venue-related needs that may arise including assisting with unlocking doors, furniture removal/placement, food and beverage set-up and break-down for in-house catering, and responding to venue emergencies.
  • The venue supervisor is also responsible for enforcing the Mansion’s policies in the safety and security interest of your guests and the venue. While they are not security professionals, they are authorized to contact first responders, including the police, and to terminate the event if necessary.


We strongly encourage the renter to hire a professional, day-of coordinator to act as their personal representative. This is the individual responsible for communicating with venue staff and other vendors throughout the event.


No security is provided by the venue. A venue supervisor will be on site throughout the entirety of the event and is responsible for venue-related emergencies and to assist in the removal of unwanted persons as needed.
